Level 4 Award in Motorsport Emergency Response and Care (RQF)

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop their clinical knowledge and skills in providing emergency care to casualties involved in motorsport incidents.

Intended Audience

TheLevel 4 Award in Motorsport Emergency Response Care (RQF)has been specifically designed for emergency care providers such as Medical Technicians, Ambulance Technicians, Paramedics, Nurses and Doctors, who provide emergency care at motorsport incidents.

While achievement of this qualification confirms Learners have met both the theoretical and practical requirements, this does not imply a ‘license to practice’ – the scope of practice will be determined by the organisation responsible for the Learner’s clinical governance.

Level 4 Award in Immediate Life Support (RQF)

This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed to enable learners to develop their knowledge and skills in providing emergency care to patients experiencing cardiorespiratory arrest or life-threatening illness and injury in a prehospital care environment.

Intended Audience

TheLevel 4 Award in Immediate Life Support (RQF)is ideal for those who have a responsibility at work, or in community or voluntary activities to provide emergency care to patients, such as event medical providers, emergency ambulance personnel, registered healthcare professionals and those working in specialist roles within the emergency services and military.

During this 1 day course, Learners will develop the necessary skills associated with immediate life support, including: airway management, patient assessment, management of major illness/injury, post-incident procedures, Managing the Return of Spontaneous Circulation (RoSC), patient handovers and more.
