🌟 Meet Yaritza Roman, our inspiring Call Center Supervisor at FHCW! 🌟Yaritza recently advanced to Call Center Supervisor from Coordinator of Patient Services. As a certified HBA, she assists patients with insurance needs, de-escalates complaints, and solves problems with compassion and expertise.A typical day for Yaritza includes answering workflow and urgent clinical questions, supporting her team by monitoring XIMA, taking calls during high volume, and helping patients with health insurance applications. She also plays a key role in leadership meetings, strategizing to improve daily processes.Yaritza's journey at FHCW began in 2016 as a temporary staff member. Her connection to FHCW is deeply personal, having grown up in Worcester and been a patient at FHCW since childhood. Her favorite part of the job is the fulfillment she gets from helping others, making a tangible difference in their lives.One of Yaritza's proudest moments was when Karen Puca, Population Health Manager, recognized her contributions and created the Coordinator position for her. This opportunity allowed Yaritza to grow and support the team more effectively, shaping her career and solidifying her dedication to FHCW's mission.Outside of work, Yaritza is a loving mother of three and a proud grandmother. She has a passion for singing, dancing, and soccer—rooting for Barcelona and Messi. She also enjoys baseball, puzzles, diamond art, and has recently discovered a love for traveling.Yaritza's favorite Worcester spots include Polar Park for Red Sox games and Elm Park, a place rich with childhood memories and family moments.
