CDASrv.exe gehört zur Printersoftware "Easy Printer Manager" von Samsung und wird bei der Installation von Samsungdruckern (auch Name Xerox) automatisch installiert. Es legt eine Vielzahl von Dateien an. !!!!! Es Verzögert den Windows-Start und das Herunterfahren.

I also have a Samsung printer for more than a year. A weeks ago, together with the update to Windows 8.1 my keyboard input was slow. After a long search it appeared that CDA server was causing this. I disabled it in the Windows startup settings. I can not remove it through the control panel, because it is not mentioned there. I could remove the files of course, but for now all works fine.

On my system it appears supporting the Samsung Easy Printer Manager for laser printer ML-2160 series. If I manually end the process (CDASvr.exe) in the Windows Task Manager, the printer icon disappears from the notification area.

Unter Common Files\Common Desktop Agent ist ein dll (56K) und ein exe (452) vorhanden. Bei den FileEigenschaften/Signaturen ist jeweils Samsung vermerkt.

Die Scan Funktion des Druckmanagers scheint diesen Server zu aktivieren. Nach dem ersten Scan hatte ich ebenfalls das Problem, dass die Tastatureingabe sehr zäh war. Nach Deaktivierung des Servers war alles wieder gut.

MikeO, I found "Samsung Easy Print Manager" listed in Programs and Features, under Control Panel. My USB trouble started also following a recent Printer driver update. I uninstalled SEPM; will see what difference may occur.
CDASrv.exe id installed as part of Samsung Easy Print Manager and is not malware if you have a Samsung printer installed. If disabled as a process it just removes Icon from startup and from taskbar. I have tested the service and it is definitely part of Samsung printer software

That process was eating up more than 700mb on my pc so thinking that it was a virus I disabled CDASrv from auto load at startup and my Samsung M2070FW stopped sending scans to the active windows user default scans folder. Was able to send scans again only after reactivating autostartup and rebooting the pc.

Running Windows 7 CDASrv.exe slows down keyboard input. When process disabled keyboard input is flowing freely again.

Wie schon erwähnt, wird CDASrv.exe als Teil des Samsung Easy Printer Manager installiert. Auf Windows 7 ändert es auch die Firewall-Regeln (Windows Firewall) und funkt sofort zu den Samsung Servern. Samsung weiß nun, dass meine Tonerkartusche ausgetauscht werden muss. Da der Drucker so billig war, muss der Profit über den Tonerverbrauch erzielt werden. Man muss die Firewallregeln löschen, dann ist Ruhe.

It's a USELESS Services! It's compare on my TraySystem after installation of Samsung Printer Diagnostic and it's CAN Possible to DISABLE it at Startup! I have block Everythings... voice from Msconfig.... voice from services.msc and this useless icon continue to appears every on SystemTray! It's also removed voice from "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" if continue to start again... i trash my samsung printer... men!

Ich habe den Samsung Easy Print Manager jetzt deinstalliert und nutze nur den Treiber vom Drucker. Damit ist die CDASrv.exe auch weg. Außerdem ist dadurch auch gleich der Samsung Easy Capture Manager für Screenshots weg.

I have an Hp printer on windows 10 and CDA server is for HP easy printer manager. I had some little problems for printing when I disabled From startup settings.

Das Programm dient als Server für den Scanner. Wenn man nicht nur vom PC den Scan starten will, sondern auch vom Scanner selbst Scans an den PC schicken will, dann benötigt man das Programm als Empfänger. Sonst tut's nicht ;-)
