Lots of ideas for kids looking for Groundhog Day crafts and activities! These crafts are fun things to do with your children on this repeat day.

Hey y’all, Tiffany here with a bunch of Groundhog Day crafts, activities, and other ideas for kids!

One of the things I enjoy the most about homeschooling is being able to celebrate different holidays with the kids. Did you know that every day has a really weird holiday? Kind of like Pi Day. It’s fun to do some of them with the children to make each day seem a bit unique and special.

Groundhog day (which is held every year on February 2nd) is a fun holiday because it’s so random. Who honestly believes that a groundhog can come out of the ground and predict whether or not winter will continue?

There are also so many fun movies and children’s books about Groundhog Day. It’s somehow become a bit of a cult classic in the United States.

To help my younger children have fun on Groundhog Day, I put together this list of crafts, activities, and ideas they can enjoy. I hope you have as much fun with them as we will!
