These Korean corn dogs set themselves apart from American ones because of their (dare we say: superior) toppings and batter. Some shops use rice flour in the batter, creating a slightly chewy-yet-light texture to every bite. Another pro tip: Don’t go light on toppings, either. To get the whole experience, be sure to ask for the Korean corn dog to be tossed in sugar and drizzled with all types of sauces — from cheesy cheddar sauce to creamy mayo.

While this delightful snack took some time to show up in NYC, at least compared to LA, New Yorkers finally have several options to try.
